I got a call from my friend, and she told me that the Blessed Mother told her to call me up because she wants me to visit her. The Blessed Mother said, “Call Carmela up because I want her to come to see me.”

I said, “Really?” It’s almost like a miracle because I was supposed to go on another trip, and somehow it changed. I was so crushed, and then I get this call. I said, “Yes! I’ll go!”

There’s a priest in Florida, he’s like a walking saint. He’s so holy. He’s just like the Masses they do here. The church is quiet, not a peep. I really got that holy feeling because of Fr. Gary’s church. When I come here, it’s the same thing. It’s really a miracle.

When I came to Medjugorje, I didn’t understand the whole thing, but I believed it because I said, “There’s got to be a reason why she wanted me to come here.”

I told the people in church, “If you have a letter, if you want to write to the Blessed Mother, I’m going to go there, and I’ll bring all the letters you want, all the miracles you want.” I have 74 letters. They were so happy. They would come to me with tears in their eyes saying, “Thank you! God bless you!” 

I said to myself, “That was the mission. The mission was to come here with those letters.” That’s why the Blessed Mother called me to come here, to bring these problems people have. 

Because I told two churches just a couple days apart, I got 74 petitions. Some of them decorated them. The children put little butterflies and hearts. I was very touched. I said, “Now I understand why I was to be here, to bring faith and hope and miracles to these people.”

A lot of things have happened to me, little things that were just meant to be. The Blessed Mother really wanted me to feel Her. 

I feel like I’ve been here before, but I’ve never been here before. I feel like it’s so familiar. 

I love to see people have so much faith, so much love. I’ve never seen that kind of embrace of the Lord or the Blessed Mother. It was loving and real. 

These churches here, everybody is so devoted. Everybody is so real. Everybody is praying all the time. Day and night, I see them praying.

It must be because the people that live here know they’re in Heaven. This is a touch of Heaven. People are kind and loving. It’s a beautiful place. I see why people come back all the time because you feel happy. You feel at peace. You feel you’re with God. You feel your dreams are going to come true, your prayers are going to come true. Everybody’s looking for miracles. I’m looking for a miracle too.
