When I heard about Medjugorje the first time, it was ten years ago. I spent Holy Week in the Holy Land. When two guides listened to my testimony, they told me, “Szymon, you should go to Medjugorje.”

When I came back, I worked in Warsaw. A few days later, a poor person came to me after Holy Mass and told me that I should go to Medjugorje. I bought some food for this man, and he showed me some pictures of the miracle of the sun and told me I should go to Medjugorje.

Two weeks later, I bought a ticket to Medjugorje with a group from Poland that went there by bus. 

I love everything in Medjugorje, everyone. For me, Medjugorje is the Niagara Falls of grace. You feel it!

It’s the place of truth. Any masks go out, and you can meet truly with God and other people. 

In 2015, I was sick. My blood wasn’t good. I spent one week in the hospital. I had only 5,000 blood elements. A normal level is 150,000. It was an extremely low level. I prayed to God while in the hospital. I asked Jesus, “Please give me one more chance because I want to do something for You.” That was my intention. 

A few days later, the sun came through the window. I was lying on the bed, and my heart was full of God’s love. I heard in my heart a song about misericordia, about Jesus who is the source of true love, and a melody. I felt it in my heart and mind.

When a nurse came to me, I asked, “Hey, can I sing this song?” 

“Yes! Of course!”

She said, “Szymon, it’s beautiful. You should make a recording.”

I am sick. I don’t know if I will live or not. I said, “Okay, if you want, Jesus. It’s Your project because I’m not a musician. I will do this for You.”

During the hospital, Jesus gave us the name, “Apostles of Jesus and Mary.” That’s why the musician band was created. One month after, we made this. About 15 different songs. Some words are from the Diary of St. Faustina. 

Now, it’s been eight years we’ve been doing this as a band in Poland. We created about 11 different CDs like Veni Sancti Spiritus. We have a studio. There are some covers, like Hillsong, but a Polish version.

Since 2016, I came here to Medjugorje with my group, Apostles of Jesus and Mary. We came in three cars, and we produced a video for one of the songs. One guy said, “Szymon, next year you will come here with a bus group.”

I worked in a big company. I was a manager of marketing in beer production. It wasn’t my dream, but Gospa changed my life. It started in the hospital, and now we are musicians. We organize a big event from Queen of Peace in Poland. We love the Queen of Peace. 

As Polish we have a mission because of the war between Russia and Ukraine. We help so many Ukrainian families. There are so many Ukrainian people coming and praying here in Medjugorje. As Polish people, we want to help not only by opening our home, but by praying. For us, it’s very important, and Gospa said to us, “You should never stop, never give up, and just pray for the most important thing: peace in your heart and in your family and all the world.”

I organize pilgrimage from Poland to Medjugorje. I’ve been here about 50 times. It’s a special grace. I don’t understand it, but it’s a mission of Gospa.
