Pauline: We are 22. We have Catholic families, and we went to Catholic high school where we met. We have been friends for eight years.

We started our pilgrimage the third of September, so more than one months ago. We are making a long pilgrimage by foot and hitchhiking we hope until Jerusalem. We stopped for a few days during our pilgrimage in Medjugorje. 

We are making all our pilgrimage by asking for hospitality each evening. 

Anne-flore: We are very grateful because many people are very welcoming each evening that we can be their guests. 

We’ve been in Medjugorje three days. This is the first time.

It’s amazing to see how many pilgrims there are from all over the world. It’s always praying around here. It’s very nice to see that there are a lot of prayers that come from Medjugorje to go in heaven. I love that sensation, that feeling.

Pauline: I’m very surprised by the number of times that Mary appeared to the children and continues to appear for us to pray and to really pray for peace in the world. 

Anne-flore: I think it’s a really nice place to come and to experience the peace of Holy Mary.

The message from Mary sounds different for us because we want to go into Jerusalem but right now it’s difficult because there is war there. The message for peace sounds particularly in our ears because of our story to go into Jerusalem. We hope that we can also find peace in Jerusalem. 

We hope to get to Jerusalem for Christmas. 

We have good guardian angel, and they protect us.
