I’ve been blessed to come. Maria and Patricia talked me into coming. They had been here and said how awesome it was, and it really is awesome. 

I had the happiest birthday of my life. I ended up having three birthday cakes. Everybody was really so kind. 

But it is just a very spiritual place. You can really feel that the Blessed Mother is here. I also felt that Saint Joseph was as well, especially yesterday on Saint Joseph’s feast day. 

It’s such a beautiful experience, the Masses and all the confessionals and everything like that. It’s something that everybody should try at least once in their lifetime because it’s something that will change your life, that will make Jesus more meaningful to you. His mother wants you to get to know Him better. 

I wish everybody who hears this that it would someday be possible for them to come here and do all of this. It’s definitely a special place. Our mother is here present for us.

The beauty of the area with the mountains in the background, the snow caps, but you can just feel that it’s a holy place. You can really feel that the Blessed Mother is around with you. It’s so uplifting. You have to try it. You have to experience it. It is really a beautiful thing. 

A lot of the Masses have really been very meaningful to me. The priest who’s the local parish pastor always gives a talk at the end of each Mass, and he’s very uplifting. To have our own priest come and say the Mass yesterday, it was just beautiful. To see all those priests and deacons on the altar, it’s what you hope the church will be in every place. 

From my own thing, the message I’m getting is that we all really have to pray for priest because so many parishes today are down to one. Father that we have here is covering three different parishes. So, I mean, the problem is the shortage of priests, and we have to pray for vocations.

I just came with the expectation of getting closer to our Blessed Mother. Maria and Patricia are the ones who convinced me to come here, and they’re both so totally devoted to the Blessed Mother all the time that I just want to become more like them. I knew that by experiencing this, there would be a better chance of that happening. 

This is the place to come because you can’t come here and not end up having a relationship with our Blessed Mother because she’s all around you. You see so many statues of her and there’s just so many opportunities to have devotions to her.

If you come, she will meet you. She will lead you. She will open your mind and your heart especially to her and then through her, she leads you to Jesus, her Son. That’s the beauty of it.
